Crystal Sugar and Palm Sugar Production in Cianjur, Many Employed Layoff Victims

Head of the Cianjur Industry and Trade Cooperatives Service (Dikoperindag), Tohari Satra in Cianjur on Sunday, said that crystal sugar or powdered palm sugar craftsmen in Naringgul District continue to increase production in line with high market demand during the Covid-19 pandemic.

In fact, he said, various assistance from the government, including capital, are expected to further increase production output, which is sought after by the local market and outside the city.

According to Tohari, the palm sugar cluster has become a leading commodity from the farthest sub-district of Cianjur, which is in great demand by the market.
